Moving-Home.com was developed in 1998 by MoveAssist International Ltd and was one of the first directories of moving companies on the web. The aim was simple - to help people who are moving home. We felt the best way to do this was to allow consumers to locate and research moving companies in their area and to also request quotations from movers. Moving-Home has been assisting the public in researching moving companies ever since and has also generated thousands of sales leads for moving companies globally. Our database holds around 3,500 moving companies in every country around the world. However, we differ from other moving directories in that we set very high standards for the companies we list. We research each company and insist on them being a member of their national moving association. In the US, we will only accept current members of AMSA (American Moving & Storage Association). Elsewhere, we only list international movers who are members of FIDI. We provide as much detail about each company as we can and allow the consumer to make an objective assessment of the companies based on the quality standards they have achieved. We cover the costs of developing and maintaining Moving-home.com by inviting moving companies to sponsor pages on our site. |
